Syed Muhammad Tariq Huda presently posted as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Commerce Islamabad. He also holds the charge of Chairman, State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan and Chief Executive Officer of National Insurance Corporation.

Syed Muhammad Tariq Huda joined civil service in 1989. He has vast professional experience in Senior Management positions in diversified fields such as Custom Administration, FBR Policy Board and Trade & Commerce etc. He has attained a Degree of MBBS from Dow Medical College Karachi and LLB from SM Law College Karachi.
