Presently serving as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Industries and Production. He also hold directorship of:-

• Export Processing Zones Authority, Karachi
• National Industrial Parks, Karachi
• National Fertilizer Corporation, Lahore.

He hails from Pakistan Administrative Services and has a cumulative experience of 25 years on positions of responsibilities in the Federal as well as in Provincial Governments. He attended local and international professional training courses, workshops, seminars and conferences. During his service tenure the Officer holds the charge of Chief Executive Officer, National Fertilizer Corporation, Lahore and at presently holding the charge of Chief Executive Officer, Pakistan Steel Mill.
